Vignette illustrations as chapter heads. Recased preserving all the original decorated and lettered cloth of covers and spine. Bevelled boards. All edges gilt. New end papers neatly inserted. A close colour match but obviously new. A few small marks on the lower board. A good attractive copy. #21741. £50-00

 Horsley, Reginald. Hunted through Fiji or 'Twixt Convict and Cannibal. With illustrations by J.Ayton Symington. W.& R. Chambers Ltd., London/Edinburgh. n.d.(1890s). pp.viii+316 +(ii)+32ads. 18.5cm. Black and white frontispiece & 5 plates. Bookplate of 'Snow' (i.e.Lord C.P.Snow) with the signature of Philip Snow of Fiji. Hinges and stitching weak but all holding. Some marks on the end papers. Hard cover in gilt lettered decorated cloth. Light wear to the edges and some fraying to the head and foot of the spine. Ink name on preliminary blank and '1899'. A fair to good clean copy. £50-00

The Religious Tract Society, London. n.d.(c.1916?). 246pp. (last b lank) + 10pp. ads. 19cm. Colour frontispiece with tissue guard and one colour plate. Page edges and end papers with foxing. A little foxing to the text block. Prize label dated 1916 on front end paper. Hard cover. Decorated cloth with a third colour illustration laid down on the front cover. A good clean copy. #21690. £20-00
